FAQ

OSB wood-imitating boards are made of wood chips pressed at high pressure with a waterproof resin bonder. The presence of resin significantly reduces adhesion of adhesives. Dust and dirt must be removed from the OSB board surface prior to fixing the cladding. Remove any oil or emulsion paint stains if the board has been stained during the work. Cleaned OSB board surface should be sanded with fine sand paper, and treated with ALPOL AG 701 white primer to improve bonding of the adhesive. After the primer has dried out, tiles can be fixed using ALPOL AK 513 flexible adhesive. That adhesive can be used both on vertical and horizontal surfaces.
