FAQ
I am laying foamed polystyrene thermal insulation on my building with the use of AK 532 adhesive. According to the information printed on the packaging, the product can be used in the temperature range of 5-30°C. Can I add an anti-frost additive to the adhesive when the temperature falls below 5°C?
As the manufacturer of ALPOL AK 532 adhesive, ALPOL GIPS guarantees the declared parameters of the adhesive in temperatures above 5°C. We do not recommend using any anti-frost additives. During insulation works performed in mild winter conditions, when the air temperature is close to 0°C, we recommend the use of WINTER ALPOL AK 534 adhesive for thermal insulation systems. 8 hours after the adhesive has been used, up to -5°C temperature falls are allowed. |
