For hand-made plasterboard stopping, we recommend using our new product, i.e. ALPOL AG S17 flexible gypsum putty. Applying this product allows for eliminating the use of reinforcement tapes from plasterboard stopping technology. However, you should remember to charmfere the sharp edges of the plasterboards with a knife or planer, then paint them with ALPOL AG 704 primer. For rooms located in the attic, where high stress on the roof construction elements occurs, it is necessary to use reinforcement tapes. A supplementary product to be used with AG S17 is another new product of ours, i.e. ALPOL AG S24 ultrawhite gypsum finish coat intended for manual smoothing of joint between gypsum boards. Before applying the AG S24 finish coat, joints between gypsum boards should be sandpapered and vacuumed, then painted with AG 704 primer diluted with water in the 1:1 ratio.
