Why can’t I paint surfaces impregnated with AI 780 with acrylic paint?

The AI 780 nano-impregnating agent, due to special additives, has hydrophobic properties. Hydrophobicity makes the impregnated surface repel water droplets. The same effect occurs on an attempt to paint the surface concerned. Droplets of paint will not adhere.
