We are proud to announce that Alpol Gips Sp. z o.o. has won the “2010 Regional Leader in Innovation and Development” award in the “Innovative Product” category for its Alpol Elite flexible grout. On the 3rd of November 2010, Michał Nowakowski collected the award on behalf of the company during the “Getting Closer to Innovations” seminar held in Kielce.
ALPOL ELITE flexible grout is an innovative product unique on the Polish market for:
- being the only product in Poland with S1 transverse deformation class according to PN-EN 12002 (PN-EN 13888 standard-based designation: CG2ArW). With such properties, it is not only waterproof and frostproof but also recommended for use on the so-called critical substrates (deformable, heated, on terraces, balconies, etc.),
- being an all-purpose product in terms of the width of joints filled. The width can vary in a wide range from 2 to 20 mm,
- being available in 20 colours,
- displaying after jointing the so-called “water beading effect”,
- extended five-year warranty.
ALPOL ELITE Flexible Grout is used for filling joints between tiles of different absorbability: porcelain tiles of water absorption at < 0.5 %, glazed and terracotta tiles with absorption at > 10 %, on conventional and deformable surfaces, i.e. heated, terraces, balconies, facades, etc. It is also suitable for filling joints between mosaic, natural and artificial stone cladding as well as glass tiles. White grout is recommended for pointing marble tiles. It is intended for both interior and exterior use. The grout is supplied as a blend to be applied after mixing with water in correct proportions.
