Adhesives for jointless thermal insulation systems constitute a link between the thermal insulation element and the substrate as well as are used to embed reinforcing mesh that functions as a reinforcing layer under decorative plasters. An adhesive should permanently fasten EPS or mineral wool while the reinforcing layer should absorb operating stress due to mechanical damages and adverse weather conditions (intense sunlight, wind, rain, frost).
In order to meet such severe conditions, insulation systems should contain practice-proven material solutions that comprise complex systems containing adhesives with appropriate parameters. Our complex systems are tested in laboratories and their effectiveness is confirmed in furnance tests that form the basis for issuing Technical Approval.
ALPOL GIPS offers ALPOL EKO PLUS system intended to insulate exterior walls of buildings, where EPS is used as the thermoinsulating material and ALPOL EKO PLUS WM for mineral wool insulation systems.
ALPOL EKO PLUS system comprises now two new adhesives:
- ALPOL AK 525 – STANDARD EPS Adhesive
- ALPOL AK 527 –STANDARD EPS Adhesive for Insulation
that are alternatives for commonly used adhesives in EPS insulation systems ALPOL AK 530 (for fixing EPS) and ALPOL AK 532 (for fixing EPS and embedding reinforcing mesh).
All these adhesives easily meet the requirements of Technical Approval as far as adhesion to EPS or concrete is concerned and their top quality is conformed with a 5-year guarantee period in ALPOL EKO PLUS system. ALPOL AK 530 and AK 532 adhesives are professional products used together with other top quality materials. ALPOL AK 532 adhesive is also recommended for fixing and embedding mesh on XPS boards.
Another new product in ALPOL GIPS offer is ALPOL STROP WM system that is intended to be used for insulation, for structural floors on ceiling side and walls in open and closed non-heated locations, such as garages and cellars, above which there are heated places. Insulating buildings with ALPOL STROP WM system means fixing mineral lamella wool slabs to the surface using an adhesive and covering them with finishing without a reinforcing layer. This layer is done with the products applied by spraying, i.e.:
- ALPOL AT 320, AT 325, AT 326, AT 330 i AT 336 - decorative mineral plasters
- ALPOL AF 641 - structure spray paint
ALPOL GIPS is constantly launching new products façade finishing works applied by spraying. Apart from the above mentioned products, we also offer the following products to be applied by spraying:
- ALPOL AT 350 do AT 352 - Acrylic dashed plasters
- ALPOL AT 370 do AT 372 - Silicate-silicone dashed plasters
Spraying technology speeds up the product application, which means a much bigger surface covered with plaster during one working day. Sprayed plaster or structure paint does not require rubbing with a float. A great advantage of this technology is no “cold touches”, i.e. no visible differences in places where layers were applied at a different time. Sprayed plaster or structure paint has an attractive structure (see the photo) that may be modified by spraying more or less material, depending on the investor’s expectations.
