We have bought a house whose façade is covered with algae. In the spring we are going to insulate and redecorate it. What might cause algae to appear on the façade and how can we prevent it? Is it easy to remove such a layer?

What is the product of choice while grouting clinker façade tiles (joint grout 10 mm wide) – nano-mortar or nano-grout? The tiles are 6 mm in width.

Both products can be applied for grouting façade files. However, they differ from each other in terms of granulation and scope of application. Fine-grained, ALPOL AZ 150-156 nano-grouts can be used for grouting 2-10 mm wide joints. By contrary, ALPOL AZ 120-126 nano-mortars are a bit more coarse-grained. Hence, apart from their basic application (masonry mortars), they can also be used for grouting 5-30 mm wide joints.... Read more

Can ALPOL ELITE sanitary silicone joints be painted?

It is not recommended to do so. Surfaces made with the silicone are smooth and flexible which negatively affects the adhesion of paint and durability of such finish.... Read more
