Substrate type
Decorative mineral and acrylic plasters in ALPOL EKO PLUS thermal insulation system, properly seasoned cement-lime plasters, concrete substrates and other mineral substrates. Plastic dispersion-based plasters and paint coatings. Not intended for PVC or timber substrates

Substrate preparation
The substrate should be dry, clean, stable and sound, free from dust and greasy spots, without biological and chemical efflorescence (salty or corrosive). Wash old substrates with water jet. Remove any loose material not bonded to the substrate. Level and patch irregularities. Before paint application, treat absorbing or dusty substrates (strongly chalking) with ALPOL AG 700 deep penetrating primer or with ALPOL AG 704 primer for absorbing substrates. In case of painting freshly made mineral substrates (e.g. cement-lime plasters) allow minimum 4-week seasoning time. Decorative plaster can be painted no sooner than after 3 days from application.

Instructions for use
The product is ready to use. When stirred carefully, apply the paint with a paint roller, paintbrush and by spraying (adjust the spraying parameters properly for machine application.) It is recommended to apply the paint in two coats. While applying the first coat, dilute the paint with small amount of water (max. 10%) if necessary. Apply the second coat only when the first one has dried out completely. Use spraying method in windless weather only. While making breaks, leave the tools in paint. In order to avoid different shades of the coloured paint, it is recommended to use the same batch numbers, or to mix the paint from several containers of different batch numbers. Stir the product frequently while working, and close the container tightly after use. After use, wash the tools with water.

Tools
Paintbrush, painting roller or spraying gun.

Working conditions
Work in ambient and substrate temperatures between +5°C and +25°C. Do not mix with other paints or chemicals. Avoid working in direct sunlight, during strong wind and high air humidity. One coat is dry to touch after around 3 hours from application. The coat is fully hardened after min 24 hours. Low temperature and high air humidity prolong the drying and curing time. Protect a freshly applied paint coat (until it is completely dry) from precipitation by using suitable covers, as improper conditions during application and drying may result in discolouration and tint distortion.

Storage
Store in original, unopened packages in dry place – shelf life 12 months from production date. Protect from freezing during transport and storage.

Notes
The specifications and instructions for use are given for the temperature of (23±2)°C and relative air humidity of (50±5)%. The drying time may alter in different conditions. Wear safety goggles. In case of contact with eyes, wash immediately with plenty of water and get medical attention. Protect also your skin. Use protective clothing and gloves. Keep away from children. Clean fresh stains with water. The manufacturer accepts no responsibility for damage caused by unskilful or inappropriate use of the product.
