For waterproofing and insulating of processing and tap water reservoirs, sanitary sewage gutters and reservoirs, swimming pools, balconies, terraces, plinths, roofs, basement walls and ceilings, garages, subways, tunnels as well as damp and wet rooms (kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms and cooling rooms). Especially recommended for areas exposed to changing weather conditions, seawater and aggressive substances (road salts, sulphates, chlorides, acids, oil). Can be applied on highly irregular surfaces. Due to rough dry surface provided, the product is recommended for any types of ceramic cladding (swimming pools, reservoirs, balconies, terraces).
Component of ALPOL AQUA PLUS waterproofing system. Intended for interior and exterior use.

Substrate type
Concrete surfaces, basement and foundation masonry walls (with joints fully grouted), cement, cement-lime plaster, cement screed, gypsum underlay.
Substrate preparation
It must be sound, free from dirt and substances which may impair adhesion. New plaster work and concrete should be set and seasoned. Remove old, loose and peeling material of poor adhesion. Any damages should be patched with ALPOL AZ 130 quick-setting mortar or ALPOL AZ 135 levelling mortar. At least 3 hours prior to application of the compound, treat the substrate with ALPOL AG 707 silicate-polymer primer. Corners, at the contact points between walls and walls and bottom, which are particularly exposed to stress, should be strengthened with ALPOL tapes and corner beads with their edges embedded in ALPOL AH 754 mortar. Floor drains, balustrade fittings, ladder fittings and lamp fittings as well as pipe penetrations should be sealed with appropriate ALPOL sealing sleeves with their edges embedded in ALPOL AH 754 mortar. Degrease, remove rust and apply corrosion protection to metallic components.
Instructions for use
To prepare the flexible two-component ALPOL AH 754 sealing compound, pour the liquid component into a container and add powdered component while simultaneously stirring using low-speed electric drill with a basket mixer, until homogeneous mix is obtained (mixing time around 3 – 4 minutes). Allow 5 minutes and mix again. The collective package contains components in a ready-to-mix proportion. To reach a sludge consistency, 3 % water may be added while applying the first coat. Apply at least two coats of the compound. Apply the first sludgy coat with a brush or a paintbrush, intensively rubbing the sealing compound into the substrate at the same time. Use stainless steel float to apply the second and the following coats of the compound having the consistency of putty. Remember to apply the following coats after the previous one is set, i.e. after around 6 hours. To avoid shrinkage cracks, do not apply more mortar than 2 kg/m2 at a time. Depending on particular use, the total thickness of the waterproofing coat after drying should be between 2 and 3 mm. Spraying equipment can be used to apply the mortar on large areas. The coat can be subjected to load after the time given in the “Technical data” table. It is recommended to bond ceramic cladding in swimming pools, on terraces, balconies and other horizontal surfaces with ALPOL AK 516 quick-setting liquefied thin-layer or ALPOL AK 517 quick-setting liquefied medium-layer adhesive. It is also possible to use flexible adhesives: ALPOL AK 512, ALPOL AK 513, ALPOL AK 514, ALPOL AK 515 or ALPOL AK 518.
Tools
Low-speed electric mixer or drill, basket mixer, stainless steel float, putty knife or trowel, brush, sprayer, scaled container.
Working conditions
Work in ambient temperatures between +5℃ and + 30°C. Do not use additives. Protect freshly applied compound from excessive drying and moisture.
Storage
In original, not damaged, tightly closed containers in dry rooms, in temperature between +5°C and +30°C – shelf life 12 months from production date. Protect the product from freezing.
Notes
The specifications and instructions for use are given for the temperature of (23±2)°C and relative air humidity of (55±5)%. The workability and drying time may alter in different climate. Keep away from children. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Protect your skin. Use protective clothing and gloves. Use water for cleaning tools. The manufacturer accepts no responsibility for damage caused by unskilful or inappropriate use of the product.
General recommendations
Work according to building practice, observing manufacturer’s instructions as well as health & safety standards and regulations.
