Substrate type
Lime, cement-lime and cement plasters, as well as prefabricated or formwork system concrete and gypsum boards.

Substrate preparation
Substrate must be dry, even, sound, water absorbing and cleaned of loose material. Remove peeling paint remnants from old surfaces. Open scratches and cracks. Any small damages should be patched with ALPOL AZ 130 quick setting mortar or ALPOL AZ 135 levelling mortar. All cavities, irregularities, holes and channels must be filled and closed. Strengthen loose substrate with ALPOL AG 700 primer. New plasterwork and concrete substrate require no priming. Do not moisten the substrate before application of the finish coat. Remove dust first. In typical conditions, the finish coat can be applied at least 24 hours after application of new lime plaster, and at least 14 days after application of cement and cement-lime plaster. When exposed to lower temperatures, the intervals must be prolonged as appropriate.

Instructions for use
Pour around 8 litres of cold and fresh water per each 20 kg of ALPOL AT 307 lime finish coat to a clean container. Pour the product and allow around 10 minutes to soak well, then stir it with a basket mixer with the use of low-speed mixing machine. While working, the consistency can be adjusted by adding either water or dry product and stirring the entire mix throughout. Ready-to-use lime finish oat should be of homogeneous creamy consistency. The mix can be prepared 3-4 hours before application, to obtain optimal plasticity while spreading. Spread the finish coat with a stainless steel float to form a layer between 1 and 2 mm thick, until smooth and regular finish is achieved. Apply the second coat of thinner consistency after ca. 0.5-4 hours (depending on substrate absorption, temperature, air humidity) on wet and slightly mat surface. Continue smoothening on wet surface until absolutely even finish is achieved. The surface, if smoothened properly, requires no sanding. Unused product can be used later, if stored in a tightly closed container and a small amount of water is added to the finish coat.

Tools
Mixer or low-speed electric drill, hydrodynamic unit, basket mixer, stainless steel trowels and floats, container.

Working conditions
Work in ambient temperatures between +5°C and +30°C. Do not add any other agents to the finish coat. Do not allow the fresh finish coat to moisten or dry excessively. Particular attention must be paid to ensure good room ventilation. Lime finish coat is not suitable as a substrate for ceramic tiles. Paint or hang wallpapers at least 3 days after application. Do not use electrical heaters (to avoid shrinkage cracks) or gas heaters (to avoid shrinkage and carbonisation process.) Vinyl wallpapers must not be laid on the product.

Storage
Store in original, unopened packages in a dry place – shelf life 12 months from production date. Protect from moisture during transport and storage.

Notes
The specifications and instructions for use are given for the temperature of (20±2)°C and relative air humidity of (65±5)%. The workability may alter in different conditions. Irritating to eyes and respiratory system. Appropriate eye, respiratory system and skin protection measures should be used. Becomes alkaline after mixing with water. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Keep away from children. Use water to remove fresh dirt or ALPOL AI 770 cleaner to remove hardened dirt.
