For decorative thin-coat internal and external plaster coating (e.g. for ALPOL EKO PLUS STANDARD, ALPOL EKO PLUS PREMIUM and ALPOL TERMO BIS EPS board - based thermal insulation systems or ALPOL EKO PLUS WM and ALPOL TERMO STROP mineral wool - based thermal insulation systems). The plaster coating can be painted with ALPOL AF 640, AF 660, AF 680, AF 685 façade paints or ALPOL AI 785 colourant. For hand application or by means of mechanical spraying.
Warranty
5 years for ALPOL EKO PLUS STANDARD, ALPOL EKO PLUS PREMIUM, ALPOL EKO PLUS WM and ALPOL TERMO STROP.
Package
Single: 25 kg bag / Collective: 1200 kg shrink-wrapped pallet
Substrate type
Reinforced layer with mesh, embedded in adhesive ALPOL AK 527, AK 531, AK 532, AK 533 or AK 534, primed mineral wool in ALPOL STROP WM systemand cement and cement-lime plasters, seasoned concrete surfaces, gypsum plasters and gypsum boards.
Substrate preparation
The substrate should be dry, clean, stable, sound (reinforcing layer at least 3 days after embedding mesh in adhesive, plaster – 28 days after application, seasoned concrete). Remove brittle, loose and peeling material with poor adhesion, patch damages with ALPOL AZ 130 quick-setting mortar or ALPOL AZ 135 levelling mortar. Strengthen loose substrates with ALPOL AG 700 deep-penetrating primer. To reduce substrate absorption, if necessary, use primer for absorbing substrates ALPOL AG 704. At least 24 hours before plaster application, treat the substrate with ALPOL AG 701 primer. Pre-primed mineral wool does not require additional treatment.
Instructions for use
Mix the entire contents of the bag mechanically or manually with specified amount of clean and cold water, to bring the mixture to homogeneous and required consistency. After 5 minutes, stir the prepared mix again. Spread the plaster with a steel float, and level it accordingly. Use a plastic float to make a textured finish. In case of mechanical spraying increase amount of batched water accordingly and adjust plaster consistency depending on spraying unit type. The plaster should be sprayed with a uniform jet perpendicularly to the surface from a distance at least of 30 cm. Use the plaster within 1 hour from mixing with water. If the mix thickens in that period of time, stir it thoroughly again without adding water. Adding too much water will prolong setting time and impair all product characteristics including adhesion and strength. Do not use dirty or rusty tools or containers. Plaster may be painted when set, after a minimum of 3–7 days since application (depending on the type of paint and weather conditions).
Tools
Mixer or low-speed electric drill, basket mixer, stainless steel float and trowel, plastic float, scaled container for dosing water, container for plaster.
Working conditions
Work in ambient temperatures between +5°C and +25°C. Do not add any other agents. Protect fresh plasterwork from excessive drying and moisture and direct sunlight. Scaffolding guards are recommended.
Storage
Store in original, unopened packages in dry place – shelf life 12 months from production date. Protect from moisture during transport and storage.
Notes
The specifications and instructions for use are given for the temperature of (20±2)°C and relative air humidity of (65±5)%. The workability may vary in different conditions. Irritating to eyes, respiratory system and skin. Appropriate eye, respiratory and skin protection measures should be used. Becomes alkaline after mixing with water. If the product gets into eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Keep away from children. Use water to remove fresh dirt or ALPOL AI 770 cleaner to remove hardened dirt. The manufacturer assumes no liability for damage resulting from improper or inappropriate use of the product.
General recommendations
