Substrate type
Properly seasoned mineral cement-lime, cement and gypsum plaster; acrylic, gypsum, cement and lime finishing compound; concrete, drywall panels and firmly adhering dispersion paint coats.

Substrate preparation

The surface should be dry, clean, stable and sound, free from dust and greasy spots, without efflorescence. Remove any loose material not bonded to the substrate. Level and patch irregularities. Wash old paint coats with water and detergent. Sand off old oil paint to reach the original base. Before applying paint, treat old absorbing or dusty surfaces (strongly chalking) with ALPOL AG 700. For paining freshly made mineral substrates (e.g. cement, cement-lime plaster) allow minimum 4-week seasoning time. This period should be at least 2 weeks for gypsum plaster. In the case of fungal or mould contamination, it is necessary to remove it with ALPOL AI 790, and then to wash the surface with clean water and leave it to dry. Any surface not intended for painting must be covered accordingly. For new or uncoated substrates 3 hours before applying the final coat, it is recommended to apply an underlay coat, using ALPOL AF 605 acrylic white paint, diluted in water at 9:1 ratio.

Instructions for use

The product is ready to use. When stirred carefully, apply the paint with a paint roller, paintbrush and by spraying (adjust the spraying parameters properly for machine application). Apply the second coat only when the first one dries completely. The applied coat takes approx. 12 hours to cure enough to allow use of the area being renovated. In order to avoid different shades of the coloured paint, it is recommended to use the same batch numbers, or to mix paint from several containers of different batch numbers.

Working conditions
Work in ambient and substrate temperatures between +5°C and +25°C. Low temperature and high air humidity prolong the drying time. It is important to ensure good room ventilation. Stir the product frequently during use and close the container tightly once finished. Do not mix with other paints or chemicals.
 

Storage
In original, not damaged, tightly closed containers in temperature between +5°C and +25°C for 18 months from the production date. Protect from subzero temperatures during transport and storage.
 

Comments
The specifications and instructions for use are given for the temperature of 23±2°C and relative air humidity of 50±5%. The drying times may differ depending on conditions. Contains hydroxyimidazole and isothiazolone derivatives. May cause allergic reactions. Wear safety goggles. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Protect your skin. Use protective clothing and gloves. Keep away from children. Clean fresh stains with water. The manufacturer accepts no responsibility for damages caused by unskilful or inappropriate use of the product.
