Tools
Paintbrush, painting roller or spraying gun.
Working conditions
Work in ambient and substrate temperatures between +8°C and +25°C. Do not mix with other paints or chemicals. Avoid working in direct sunlight, during strong wind and high air humidity. One coat is dry to touch after around 3 hours from application. The coat is fully hardened after min 24 hours. Low temperature and high air humidity prolong the drying and curing time. Protect a freshly applied paint coat (until it is completely dry) from precipitation by using suitable covers, as improper conditions during application and drying may result in discolouration and tint distortion. Too high temperature while applying and drying the paint results in too rapid evaporation from water and prevents bonding with the mineral substrate. Consequently, in contact with water afterwards, migration of unbound potassium glass onto to the coat surface may occur, resulting in permanent stains or surface discolouration. Too low temperature makes water remain in the structure which slows down bonding, that impairs in turn coat durability and also leads to stains and discolouration.
Storage
Store in original, unopened packages in dry place – shelf life 12 months from production date. Protect from freezing during transport and storage.
Notes
The specifications and instructions for use are given for the temperature of (23±2)°C and relative air humidity of (50±5)%. The drying time may alter in different conditions. Note: the product is highly alkaline! Cover any glass, clinker, ceramic, metallic and natural stone surfaces before painting. Wear safety goggles. In case of contact with eyes, wash immediately with plenty of water and get medical attention. Protect also your skin. Use protective clothing and gloves. Keep away from children.
