For machine application of gypsum, single coat plaster on walls and ceilings in rooms not exposed to permanent moisture and condensation of steam. Provides an ideal underlay for ceramic lining, decorative plaster, finish coat, wallpaper and paint. Minimum plaster coating thickness: 8 mm. The plaster can also be applied by hand. Intended for interior use.

Substrate type
Walls of brick, ceramic and silicate blocks, cellular concrete blocks, walls and ceilings of concrete or prefabricated concrete components. Old, not weathered cement-lime plaster.
Substrate preparation
The surface must be clean, sound, dry and free from dust and greasy spots. Patch any defects and irregularities with ALPOL gypsum plaster no later than an hour before plastering. Surfaces exposed to scratching, e.g. adjacent structural material, hole corners etc., should be strengthened with 10 mm fibre-glass reinforcing mesh, embedded in the gypsum plaster. Strengthen loose surfaces with ALPOL AG 700 deep-penetrating primer. At least 24 hours prior to the application, prime concrete surfaces with ALPOL AG 702, and highly absorbing surfaces with ALPOL AG 703. Protect all steel components (frames, conduits, barriers etc.) from direct contact with gypsum, due to its corrosive action.
Instructions for use
Use available plaster units with unit mixing chamber to apply the plaster onto the entire area to be treated during one working cycle. Apply the plaster evenly onto the prepared surface. Upon application, distribute the plaster with an H-profile level. After the plaster initially sets (around 100 minutes), level the plaster surface with a T-profile level. Wait another 60 minutes to smoothen the plaster using a wide scraper held perpendicularly to the wall plane. Before the setting is complete, after around 30 minutes, sprinkle the plaster with water and float it with a sponge float to extract bleeding water out of the surface. After 30 minutes, smoothen the surface using a wide scraper to obtain the final smooth finish. If, during the operation, there is not enough bleeding water, moisten the plaster with water. Optimum workability of the plaster is 220 minutes. Surfaces to be covered with tiles should be left rough after scraping – no further smoothening or “sponging” is required. To obtain a thicker coat, apply several wet-on-wet layers of plaster.
Tools
Low-speed electric mixer, floats and levels, trowel, spirit level, sponge, wide scraper, mortar container.
Working conditions
Work in ambient temperatures between +5°C and +25°C. Do not use additives. Protect fresh plasterwork from excessive drying and moisture. Use clean containers and tools for each mixing.
Storage
Store in original, unopened packages in dry place – shelf life 3 months from production date. Protect from moisture during transport and storage.
Notes
The specifications and instructions of use are given for the temperature (20±2)°C and relative humidity of air (65±5)%. The workability may alter in different conditions. Appropriate eye, respiratory system and skin protection measures should be used. Becomes alkaline after adding water. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Keep away from children. Clean fresh stains with water. The manufacturer accepts no responsibility for damage caused by unskilful or inappropriate use of the product.
General recommendations
Work according to building practice, observing health & safety standards and regulations.
