Masonry components
Clean, dry and not damaged glass bricks.

Substrate preparation
The substrate to which the glass brick wall is to be bonded, must by clean, dry, sound, resistant to deformation and free from substances which might impair adhesion. Any damages and irregularities should be patched with ALPOL AZ 130 quick setting mortar or ALPOL AZ 135 levelling mortar.

Instructions for use
Mix the contents of bag with specified amount of clean and cold water and stir manually or mechanically to bring the mixture to homogenous and required consistency. Allow 5 minutes and stir the prepared mix again. Before erecting the wall, read the technical documentation and follow the guidelines of the glass brick manufacturer. Before laying each subsequent component, apply ready mortar onto the top and side surface of the brick, in such a manner that the joints between bricks are filled completely. Remove excess of mortar immediately with a damp cloth. After laying each layer (max. 4-5 layers per day) check the vertical and horizontal alignment of the wall. Use special spacers to adjust distances between the glass bricks while building a wall. Use prepared mix within 3 hours from mixing with water. If the mortar thickens in that period of time, stir it again thoroughly without adding water. Adding too much water prolongs setting time and impairs all mortar characteristics, such as: adhesion and strength. Clean and stainless tools are recommended to work with.

Tools
Mixer or low-speed electric drill, basket mixer, trowel, putty knife, steel float, spacers, container for mortar and water.

Working conditions
Work in ambient temperatures between +5°C and +30°C. Do not add any other agents to the mortar. Protect the freshly built wall from excessive drying and moisture.

Storage
Store in original, unopened packages in dry place – shelf life 12 months from production date. Protect from moisture during transport and storage.

Notes
The specifications and instructions for use are given for the temperature of (20±2)°C and relative air humidity of (65±5)%. The workability may alter in different conditions. Becomes alkaline after mixing with water. Irritating to eyes and respiratory system. Appropriate eye, respiratory system and skin protection measures should be used. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Keep away from children. Use water to remove fresh dirt or ALPOL AI 770 cleaner to remove hardened dirt. The manufacturer accepts no responsibility for damage caused by unskilful or inappropriate use of the product.
