Substrate type
Properly cured and treated cement, cement-lime and gypsum plaster, concrete substrates, cement, stone, terrazzo and anhydrite floors. Walls made of ceramic and silicate bricks and blocks as well as of cellular concrete blocks. Old tiles, terracotta and porcelain tiles, gypsum, cement fibre  and gypsum fibre boards, adhering, sound and stable paint coats. Waterproofing coats made of ALPOL AH 751 membrane and ALPOL AH 752, ALPOL AH 753 mortars.

Substrate preparation
Substrate should be clean, stable and sound. New plaster work and concrete should be set and cured. Old, loose, brittle and peeling material of poor adhesion should be removed. Pits should be patched with ALPOL AZ 130 quick setting mortar or ALPOL AZ 135 levelling mortar. Treat the loose substrate with ALPOL AG 700 and ALPOL AG 703 deep penetrating primer to reduce absorption, if necessary. Remove impurities and coatings impairing adhesion from terrazzo and stone surfaces and treat them with ALPOL AG 700 or ALPOL AG 702 primer. To provide a bonding coat, apply a thin layer of adhesive on old tiles, after degreasing and roughening their surface, or treat the surface with ALPOL AG 702 primer. Gypsum surfaces, anhydrite floor and gypsum fibre boards should be primed twice with ALPOL AG 703 primer.

Instructions for use
Stir the bag contents manually or mechanically with specified amount of clean and cold water to bring the mixture to homogeneous and required consistency. After 5 minutes, stir the prepared mix again. Apply the adhesive onto the substrate with a float or putty knife and spread with a notched trowel with proper notch size (for mosaic and tiles with side length below 10 cm, a maximum 6 x 6 mm notch size is recommended). Put mosaic sheets against the surface with spread adhesive pressing them evenly so as to fill the space between individual tiles with adhesive. Fix tiles by putting and pressing them against the surface. When fixing tiles on critical substrates and those exposed to water penetration, apply the adhesive also on tile bottom. Do not soak the mosaic and tiles before fixing. Position adjustment can be made within 15 minutes from fixing. Finish tile installation within max. 10 minutes from spreading adhesive on the surface. There is no need to use tile spacers as the adhesive does not flow down (no slip). Use the adhesive within 40 minutes from mixing with water. If the adhesive thickens in that period of time, stir it again without adding water. Adding too much water impairs all adhesive characteristics. Unused hardening slurry cannot be mixed with water again. Throw it away.

Tools
Mixer or low-speed electric drill, basket mixer, notched trowel, putty knife.

Working conditions
Work in ambient temperatures between +5°C and +30°C. Do not add any other agents to the adhesive. Protect the applied adhesive from excessive drying, and moisture and frost until it sets.

Storage
Store in original, unopened packages in dry place – shelf life 12 months from production date. Protect from moisture during transport and storage.

Notes
The specifications and instructions for use are based on the temperature (23±2)°C and relative air humidity (50±5)%. The workability may vary in different conditions. Becomes alkaline after mixing with water. Appropriate eye, respiratory and skin protection measures should be used. If the product gets into eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Keep away from children. Use water to remove fresh dirt or ALPOL AI 770 cleaner to remove hardened dirt. The manufacturer assumes no liability for damage resulting from improper or inappropriate use of the product.
